Radio display - one way to try and get new members??

Recently, thanks to Paul Collins from our club, he organized a group of Vintage Car enthusiasts to have a tour of my small radio/technical collection.  About 20 people turned up.  Following on this, 2 more groups have visited which were offshoots from the original group.  Each time I have improved the tour and talk, and very importantly pushed our club with take away cards showing our Web address.  Hopefully, this will eventually lead to some more members.  It is not only radios but lamps, phones, batteries, etc.  Actually anything old and interesting is really enjoyed.   I have no problem in other groups visiting, so if you have any ideas please let me know.  Also, if anyone has anything vintage and interesting that they no longer want, I may be interested.  bapowell@xtra.co.nz
