Hello, I bought a Philips Model BZ 266 U a couple of years ago and have hardly used it as I gave it initially to my stepson who used it more for plugging his phone into the pickup, than using it as a radio, but complained that it sounded "rumbly" and I've used it more recently (as a radio) and noticed that the volume tends to wane considerably after being on for a while. I removed the back after having it on for an hour or more and found that the large electrolytic capacitor can was quite hot and obviously a very bad sign, also there are a few paper caps in there which I want to replace. I have plenty of capacitors, resistors etc. Ample for the task but being an Australian radio restorer, I don't have access to a schematic for this radio, which is AC/DC, possibly live chassis, obviously I can check mains polarity with a multimeter to ensure that is not the case, but if anybody can help with a schematic pdf, I would be very grateful. Cheers. Jamie.
