Seen in advertising in December 1939 Really keen to know what model it is, and maybe get images of it and its Columbus counterpart (if there was one). JWS lists the "First portable" by RCNZ as a model 100 from 1941 - but this predates that by at least a year. Having said that, it could be a model 100 or 101 because often schematics were released (and dated) later than the actual model release date. Anyone got one, or have photos of one? There are plenty of RCNZ portables in this approximate size, but later in date and with the controls on the front. The only Columbus I know of with controls on the top is much much later in date than this one. The model numbers for portables seem to have been (roughly, from memory) 100/101 (the one I think this might be), 201, 301, 402 and 502 (the only one with controls on the top) Cheers, Steve
