Hi John, yes those values seem reasonable... I suspect your aerial coils are all good. Give it a whirl with a longer aerial and see how you go - We're very lucky here in Chch with AM stations well spread from one end of the band to the other. I tend to align sets to the stations rather than the scale - to ensure the radio can get The Coast at just shy of 1600kc/s which dials were only just on the cusp of extending to at that time, previously 1500 or 1550 was your max. The FA did, but it pays to make sure you can tune the full band. I never bother too much about the bottom of the scale, but if you want Rhema then you also need to be able to get down to 540kc/s. Personally if I can get Magic on 738 I'm happy, the rest is just noise Cheers, Steve
