Any advice on where to find these in 1 or half watt sizes and others over 10megohm in NZ? Jaycar's site search engine is hopeless - shows you 22uf caps or 22 drawer cabinets even when you put in resistors while trademe does not seem to have above 1 megohm.

Jaycar resistors (1 Watt) go up to 10 Meg value only (SL# RR2870) - but of course you could put two in series for 20 Megs. Chrs, D.

Would this do the job? First one out of the box reads about 23.5M according to my VTVM (admittedly never calibrated for such a high value so the accuracy could be out by a considerable margin) - none of my digital meters read above 20M so they all just show as open cct. These are rated 1/2 watt. PM me your address and I can post you a couple if you like. Cheers, Steve
