I know this relic really deserves a decent burial but it sneaked into my workshop when I wasn't looking. Anyone got a schematic for a Pye Isotronic 7004 amp/tuner/turntable combo unit?. Particularly interested in the (unstable) pickup preamp. Cheers M

Hopefully this will help... let me know if you need anything else... they're big pages and a bit of a pain to scan. The circuit page is about 6000px wide in full size so should have enough detail - but the pages aren't perfectly flat and so there are a couple of slightly out of focus bits. TR1, 1TR1, TR2 and 1TR2 seem to be the magnetic cart preamp devices... Cheers, Steve

And the tuner info in case you want it. The tape stuff is another big schematic so unless you need that I'll leave it out. Cheers, Steve

Cheers, Steve View AttachmentView AttachmentCan I trouble you to upload the tape section schematic? I was working on one a few months ago and doing it blind (without the schem). I got it sorted but it would have been faster with the road map. Thanks!

Keep reminding me - all my Pye stuff is out of reach at the moment but I'll get back in to it at some point...

Hey Steve,
Would you happen to have the manual for the Isotronic 7004? My dad has bought one and it didn’t come with a manual.
Also would you happen to have the full set up? The rear speakers? He has the 2 front speakers but not the rear. Wouldn’t mind a photo of those too if possible?

Hi, sorry but I don't have very many manuals for anything - and nothing that late. When I get given a manual I put it up in the description part of the page for that model because they are generally quite interesting. And regarding photos - I don't have any for the 7004 at all so I'm not even sure what it looks like. I do have pictures of a 7002, but not with any speakers unfortunately. Someone here may know what they look like though.
Cheers, Steve
