I recently had a Stewart Warner model 1262 console given to me. This uses chassis R126, made in 1934. The set comprises the following valves, 6C6 (1st det), 76 Osc, 2 stages of IF amplification using 6D6’s, a 75 2nd det, AVC and first audio, then 42 output valve and the usual 80 rectifier. unfortunately the chassis is in a sad state, the dial mechanism is missing (similar operation as Atwater Kent 447 etc) slides up and down to reveal each of 4 wave bands. The other problem is the wave change switch which is totally “munted”. Has anyone got a donor chassis ? This chassis was used in several models, either tombstone, table top or console. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Roy
