Model 52, which was a numbering system they used in the early 40's. According to the 1941 trade price list from Akrad its a 5-valve dual wave set with an 8" speaker and sold for £21/10/-
My main question - Who was/were 'Ross'?

Here is a Pacific 85 (this one is in the Waihi museum) And the Ross 52 for comparison... like a baby brother It will be very interesting to find out a little more about this brand - I did discover a second hand 'for sale' advert in the Press in 1940 for a Ross radio, and this one is for sale in Christchurch - so possibly a Chch brand?
