Does anyone here have past restoration experience of U.K. Murphy model A30c circa 1936? Pics attached. I'm particularly interested in the condensor pack and HT troubleshooting? I've taken on a project which is challenging but I'm determined to give it a shot. All knobs are missing & it would great to find replacements; knob is pushed on squared shaft with a 4BA dome nut keeper. Attachments:

An interesting project. Compare the very utilitarian and, in my view, quite ugly British cabinet with those produced right here in NZ. We really did have an innovative wireless industry here for all those years. Can't help with any info or parts but there are a couple of photos on Radio Museum. I've got an EKCO PB289 push button, motor drive receiver here waiting in the wings which as yet, I haven't had the courage to tackle. My lockdown project is a very, very sad HMV/RCA R4 Superette. - oh dear!
Cheers.

I agree. A few borer holes but ruggedly built. Front veneer is microcarpa “Indian Laurel” while the top and sides are “walnut”. The design is one of many deliberate concepts by a Mr. R.G. Russell and a little avant-garde; not to everyone’s liking but I must say the look has grown on me over time due to its minimalist battle-ship boldness.
