There's always someone happy to butcher something because they think they can make it "better". Saw this on a FB post a few weeks ago. Asked the guy why he did it. He said "nothing was working, and repairs are costly if you can’t do it yourself. Wasn’t willing to do it. Plus I’m happy with the Leak sound. Lovely."

Here's one that the owner must have thought he was really improving. It has been listed week after week for several months now. It started out over $500, I see the price is falling as time goes by. Apparently it has Bluetooth, FM, USB and a turntable!

Actually I have no problem with adding Bluetooth... but the way this guy has gone about it is totally wrong. Seth from Radiorama uses a small transformer - sometimes hidden under the chassis & it feeds in to the preamp grid so is available via the "gram" switch.
It looks like the above turkey isn't using the valve stuff at all.... & he's ruined a cabinet which was in quite good nick before he started:( John.
