Does a definitive list/spreadsheet exist somewhere showing N.Z. broadcast stations callsign vs. frequency across the years? Being the present caretaker of NZVRS dials in Auckland, this would help narrow down date/model for the many unidentified dials we have.
Regards, Bob

I did do some research when trying to date my late grandmothers circa 1939 radio. It included using programme schedules in PapersPast and newspaper articles. Perhaps if I dig out the information? However, it may be in the New Year as I'm only just back from a month visiting family in the U.S. And, I'm committed to doing the sound system in the North Pole express steam train here on the Kapiti Coast. Cheers, Brian Oliver.

Thanks Brian,
Iv'e started working on this myself and it's coming along quite well. I'm using a number of resources including back issues of NZVRS bulletins and a few Lamphouse Annuals.
Apparently there is some good info in the appendix of "The Radio Years" book published by Patrick Day but I don't have accesc to a copy... if anyone can help there.

Thanks Richard. Another piece to add to the puzzle. I've opened a can of worms for myself and now my spreadsheet looks like "War & Peace" in table form! I am getting there though and will share when it's done.

I will still dig out what I had found when doing my research. Still packed away deep in a cupboard with my late grandmother's radio from when we were away and had a house-sitter in. Hopefully I'll get to it in the next few days...!
