Here's a few pictures of some of the gear that was brought along, Sans photos of David C. and Karl's gear which came out blurry. Hopefully the following pictures have the correct orientation, they are showing up sideways, upside down and correctly depending which device they're viewed on First up was 2 of Gerry Billman's creations. To the front a 2A3 based SET Amp with transformers wound by Gerry. At the rear a Push Pull EL37 Mono block, driven by 3 6SN7's, Power transformer was wound by Gerry, the massive OPT is a Beacon 48S66 Ultralinear. The proof in any pudding is the eating and I believe we were all delighted to hear the 2A3 put into action Next up Was Bryan's Ex-NZBC amps which were recently restored with fantastic results, again we were treated to a live demo. Dave K's offering was a stereo SET with a tube lineup of 1xEZ81,1X6SN7 and 2x45's, OPT's are Tomiko, Beside the 45 Amp is another Beacon 48S66 OPT that has been bead blasted and painted. Paul W bought his Leak Stereo20 which he bought from a club auction several years ago, still a very popular amp amongst enthusiasts.

To Follow was Paul B's CineFone, cinema amplifier. Paul is eager to speak to anyone that knows the history of this amp or others like it?. The amplifier is in 2 chassis, the rear is the power supply, up front is the amplifier that has a compliment of Push Pull 6L6's, EF37A's and 6SJ7's if I remember correctly? Underneath contains a large assortment/historical timeline of replacement capacitors, the originals were simply left in situ and disconnected with the new ones soldered over the top/side or anywhere else they could squeeze it in. The night ended up with many long conversations, Tea, Coffee and Biscuits. Thanks to all that contributed, likewise to those that attended.
