I think I've completed this mission. All apart from the monumental task ahead of me now...

Just for completeness, I've spent some time with the original bill of materials / costing / supplier sheet from the ministry (found that in Archives NZ - very handy!) and the 3 different photos of different chassis undersides I have and reverse engineered the circuit - its not exactly the same as a Columbus model 12 - but its not too far different. Here are the two pages of awesome that made this possible: It even shows who made what, which is really interesting - RNZ (Radio Corp), PH. (Philips), HMV, Akrad, Swan, Beacon, Reid (Reidrubber?), Prec. (Precision Engineering?), MS (Ministry of Supply?).... but the numbers - could these be different military stores units? H. C. Urlwin was a Christchurch-based plastics company, perhaps the biggest in the country at the time. Cheers, Steve

A sidetrack comment around schematics...
I appreciate using the good old earth symbol for simplicity as opposed to earth being a rail; earth is earth (and dust to dust, one could presume). The less lines the better. My father always drew components earths like that, as I still do. Keep it up.

Thanks Bob - I very nearly added an earth rail into this one, but it's a modified Columbus model 12 schematic and that is how Radio Corp did them - so thats how I left it.
Cheers, Steve
