Yep, that's it. It is called the "Little Companion". It's on Steve's site too. I wonder if Radio Warehouse Ltd & NZ Radio Manufacturing Co Ltd, who made the Viking brand & both were in Christchurch, were related because the construction methods are very similar. - lots of "in air" joints, earth points just soldered to the chassis, far to much solder on most joints & generally very scrappy construction. The speaker, a Jensen, was mounted by drilling 2 holes through the magnet frame & bolting it to the chassis! I had to replace the speaker because the EM coil was open and the metalwork had been folded around the coil after it was placed on the pole piece. The OPT was open circuit too. The dial & mechanism are very good. Anyway I've replaced all the components & powered it up. It goes quite well. IF freq is 170kc/s. Now to the cabinet which looks much worse than it is.

I should have added that many of the circuitry features are the same as the Viking also.
