Well here we are, Day 1, how are Folks coping?
Already the list of things to do has grown substantially and 4 weeks to do it isn't looking anywhere long enough!
Mrs K. is working from home and I'm already considering building a tiny home for her to work from

I have a pile of radios to fix, and this is an ideal opportunity to get on with them!
Stay safe, everyone. L --

Good on you; Me too. Today I put every screw, washer, nut, bolt hardware from a great junk box into order. Now I'll never find anything! To think... most of our collections have been through times of war and depression before and would simply sigh at todays goings-on as another hurdle, but carry on regardless.
Take care & stay safe. xxx

So far I've been working - teaching. The school holidays (?!) start next week so I can get into some projects then - including my latest acquisition, the first ever Pacemaker model, the 5MO - in pretty rough condition ( www.vintageradio.co.nz/model/pacemaker/5mo the photos are my one). I have a 3D printer and vacuum former at home with me from work so I can prepare student work for them ready to go when we start up again - but I may also see what use I can get from those tools in a radio sense over the break - the 5MO needs a new dial glass, so the vacuum former will get a trial run there, although the plastic I have for it is quite thick so it might not work out too well.

No real difference for me as I'm retired apart from the Motorway across the valley being a lot quieter. As we have 128 steps down from the road to our house, I tend to keep a stock of stuff on hand both hobby and household because ever after 40+ odd years down here you still do NOT want to walk up them at every opportunity. Trips are planned - LOL.
