www.renovatedradios.com"To all members of the antique radio community. As of November 1, 2021, I will no longer be making parts for radios. I’ve been making parts for nearly 20 years now, and I just can’t keep doing this forever. Age is playing a big part in my decision, along with a desire to do other things." A real shame, I've purchased quite a few parts from this guy over the years

That's a shame - but it looks like an opportunity for someone to pick up the baton and keep making the parts that he won't be making any more. I see he's planning to sell off around 550 molds for casting parts. Be interesting to know what sort of money they'll go for.

I've been buying his rubber Philco parts for years (chassis bumpers, RF sub-chassis isolators etc) - I don't think anyone else is making them - I wish him a happy retirement, but hope someone else carries on the business (I wonder if Radio Daze will buy him out? That would be a good extension to their current business)...
