Hello to the Group!!! Does anyone have a list or Catalogue of 'Q' Inductance Specialists coils??? I have a few, and wonder how useful they are? Type 153 Type 115A Type 45 Type 40 Type P15A Thanks very much! Very best regards, Lance.

Hi Lance, I did email you this info - but in case others are also looking for help with Q branded coils etc: Inductance Specialists generally seems to use a numbering system that helps narrow things down: Numbers ending in: 0 should be aerial coils of some sort 1 are oscillator coils 2 are IF coils 3 are chokes (RF/HF?) 4 are coil assemblies and built-up tuning units 5 are RF coils 6 7 are chassis' Letters at the start: D are dial movements SC are the dial scales P are miscellaneous mechanical electrical components B are basic kitsets For your ones, I think: 40 and 45 - should be universal Aerial and RF coils respectively, from the same series - they had a 41 universal Osc coil as well 115 is an RF coil with a high-impedance primary I think P15A - some mechanical tuning part based on the P prefix? Not sure about 153 - I did find 135, but not 153 in the listings I have. Numbers ending in 3 could refer to HF chokes.
