Seasons greetings to all
I am working on a Pacemaker Atlanta and had one of those moments where the soldering iron hit the dial string, the air might have been a bit blue. Does anyone know if there's any info on restringing this radio or something similar. I did do a drawing of how it went but sadly I lost my way and where can you get dial string?

I don't know why I missed that as I downloaded the schematic. I tried some waxed cord but no joy as I think it's to thick and it slips

Depends on the radio - what diameter did it have? You could try dental floss, I've also heard fishing line sometimes works.

Linen thread in a variety of diameters is widely available from sewing shops. Go for the UNWAXED variety.

Thanks guys. Re what size is best I guess common sense would say use the same size that was on the radio.

and the fishing supplies shops - often have braided nylon fishing line of suitable diameters.
