Hi All. I came across some resistors, with various resistance values, all black (not colour coded) and with the codes C22 and XF on them (see pictures).
The logo is a W inside an Ω symbol. Anybody know anything about these?

They produced resistors with similar obscure part numbers for equipment made by them.

I found out what these are: vintage "Panclimatic" carbon resistors made by Welwyn (UK) and used in AVO meters and AVO VCM. They are available from mullard.org , an interesting website which sells vintage components.
